Marbella is situated on the Mediterranean, between Malaga and the Strait of Gibraltar, and in the foothills of the Sierra Blanca. Its municipality covers an area of ​​117 square kilometers, crossed by the highway and toll road called the Mediterranean.

With more than 130.000 inhabitants it is the second largest city of the Malaga province and the eighth largest city of Andalusia. In addition, it is one of the most important tourist cities of the Costa del Sol and Spain.
